About Future Doctors
A Harvard-student-mentored pre-med pathway for school students who are serious about medicine.
The mission
Future Doctors brings structured, Harvard-student-mentored pre-med education to school students. We believe pre-med starts earlier than most families think — so we built a pathway from first curiosity in Grade 5 through the application-ready work that medical schools notice.
Every programme is designed to give students real clinical reasoning practice, mentorship from current Harvard students, and a portfolio they can point to when they apply to university.
What we offer
We run two core programmes, plus free masterclasses and a selective capstone project track.
Future Doctor Fellowship
A virtual cohort built around case-based clinical reasoning. Fellows work through real patient scenarios, learn to read medical literature, and complete a capstone project with mentor feedback.
Junior Doctor Fellowship
A discovery programme that introduces younger students to how doctors think. Students explore body systems, medical ethics, and what it means to care for patients.
Both programmes are limited to cohorts of 15–20 students. Students also join free monthly masterclasses with Harvard mentors and complete a capstone project through our fellowship.
Our in-person Cambridge camp at Jesus College is run in affiliation with the college; the Harvard campus experience is planned and not yet open for registration.
What makes it credible
- Every cohort is mentored by current Harvard students.
- Our Cambridge camp is run in affiliation with Jesus College Cambridge.
- Fellows complete a capstone project, receive a mentor letter, and earn a certificate.
