Future Doctors is a pre-med education program for school students who are interested in medicine. Students join a small live online cohort and are taught by current Harvard University students. The programs run for students in Grades 5 to 12.
There are two programs. The Junior Doctor Fellowship is for Grades 5 to 8 and runs over 3 weekends, live online. The Future Doctor Fellowship is for Grades 8 to 12 and runs as an 8-week live online cohort.
The Junior Doctor Fellowship is $499 per cohort. The Future Doctor Fellowship is $850 at the early bird price. Both fees cover all live sessions, mentoring and materials for the cohort.
Yes. Every mentor is a verified current student at Harvard University. Mentors lead the live sessions, review student work and give feedback directly.
Each live session lasts 90 minutes and is built around a real medical case or theme. Students work in small groups, discuss the case with their mentor, and record their thinking. Cohorts hold 15 to 20 students, so every student gets time to speak.
Students finish with a completed project and a certificate of completion. Fellowship students also receive a personalised Letter of Participation. Junior Doctor students finish with a Casebook of their case work and a written assessment from their mentor.
Every session is recorded and shared within 24 hours. Students can watch the recording and catch up on the work they missed. Mentors can also answer questions about a missed session in the next class.
